Cambodia's River Network

Home to the Tonlé Sap Lake, Cambodia's river network is a vital water system that supports both the country's ecology and economy. The Tonle Sap River connects the lake to the Mekong River, creating a dynamic flow that shifts direction seasonally. This network includes numerous tributaries, channels, and wetlands, providing essential resources for agriculture, fishing, and transportation, while also serving as a habitat for diverse wildlife. The rivers play a key role in sustaining the livelihoods of millions of Cambodians, shaping the nation's landscape and culture.

Inspired by Perrin Remonté's river maps, I tried to recreate a similar map of Cambodia :)
