Cambodia's River Network

Home to the Tonlé Sap Lake, Cambodia's river network is a vital water system that supports both the country's ecology and economy. The Tonle Sap River connects the lake to the Mekong River, creating a dynamic flow that shifts direction seasonally. This network includes numerous tributaries, channels, and wetlands, providing essential resources for agriculture, fishing, and transportation, while also serving as a habitat for diverse wildlife. The rivers play a key role in sustaining the livelihoods of millions of Cambodians, shaping the nation's landscape and culture. Inspired by Perrin Remonté's river maps, I tried to recreate a similar map of Cambodia :)

Singapore General Election 2020 Results

  The Singapore General Election (GE) of 2020 took place on July 10, 2020. It was held in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to changes in the campaign process, such as restrictions on physical rallies and more virtual events. The ruling People’s Action Party (PAP), led by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, won decisively, securing 83 out of 93 seats in Parliament, though they saw a drop in their share of the popular vote to 61.24% compared to the previous GE in 2015. The opposition parties performed better than in previous elections, with the Workers' Party (WP) securing 10 seats, including a significant victory in the traditionally pro-government stronghold of Aljunied GRC (Group Representation Constituency). This was the first time in Singapore's history that an opposition party held more than one GRC.
